• Earthquake Moratorium Due to the 4.6 magnitude earthquake that occurred on Thursday, 10/20/2011 at 7:24 AM (MDT), 47 miles SSE of San Antonio, Texas, we are announcing the following moratorium in accordance with MetLife Auto & Home standard procedures. Beginning 10/20/2011 this earthquake moratorium applies to areas in Texas within 100 miles from the earthquake epicenter for any homeowners policy, including renters and condos. This moratorium is scheduled to expire on 11/4/2011 unless there is an aftershock or another earthquake of 4.0 magnitude or greater on or prior to the expiration date. This area includes all of the following counties: Aransas, Atascosa, Bandera, Bastrop, Bee, Bexar, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Calhoun, Colorado, Comal, DeWitt, Dimmit, Duval, Fayette, Frio, Gillespie, Goliad, Gonzales, Hays, Jackson, Jim Wells, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Kleberg, La Salle, Lavaca, Live Oak, Llano, McMullen, Matagorda, Medina, Nueces, Real, Refugio, San Patricio, Travis, Uvalde, Victoria, Webb, Wharton, Wilson, and Zavala
